He is also a member of the Door County ARC, and is active in ARES/RACES, serving as the district emergency coordinator for northeast Wisconsin.

Jenny Kim AD7DN is a 17 year old who will enroll as a freshman at Cornell University in the fall, planning to major in electrical engineering. She holds an Extra class license, comes from an all ham family, and was first licensed as a novice in 1999. She is a member of the Las Vegas Radio Club and operates mostly on 20 meter CW and SSB. She has constructed a 7 Mhz single band CW transceiver. She is active in several sports and is fascinated by foreign languages – she now speaks English, Spanish, French, German, Russian, and Korean.
HaoQi Li KI4LJD is an 18 year old who will enroll as a freshman at MIT in the fall, as yet undecided on which branch of engineering to pursue. She holds a General class license and operates VHF FM and 20 meters SSB. She was vice president of her high school’s radio club and is a member of the Vienna Wireless Society. She recently achieved a goal of speaking to the ISS astronauts.
